We have a unique blend of facilities to cater for every fly fisher regardless of age or experience. We started developing our array of services in 1994 and are constantly finding new ways to help people de-stress and unwind from the fast pace of city life. Our property situated at Thornton on the banks of the Goulburn River, has everything to ensure that your valued leisure time is maximised.

PERFECT FOR WINTER

ACCOMMODATION

Accommodation on the edge of our lakes and within a stone's throw of the main building is available. The perfect place for an overnight escape or week long stay. A great place to bring the family with comfortable lodgings and plenty to do and see in the region...

PRIVATE LAKES

Sixteen acres of well stocked lakes and ponds interconnected and fed with high quality water from the Goulburn River. Stalk the edges or drag out a float tube from the verandah and explore the fishing on offer. Private waters available every day of the year.....

PRIVATE STREAM

Unique to GVFFC is our one kilometre of man-made, well stocked stream. It runs around our property and is fed via water from the Goulburn River. As we have control of whether it runs directly from the Goulburn or from the outflow of our lakes we can control the water temperatures year round to ensure optimised conditions. Open all year it is strictly catch and release.....

CORPORATE AREA

Our facility was designed with corporate groups in mind and houses an upstairs mezzanine overlooking our lakes and waterways. Broadband connections, whiteboards and data projectors meld with mountain views, rustic lounges and antique fly fishing gear.....

TOUR THE SHOP

Our shop is the fly fisher's home away from home. Everything from gear, to services, to local advice, is available on a daily basis. Three full time guides onsite every day ......
