METHOD

Base hook shank with thread, winding from eye back to between point and barb.

Tie in tail and start floss, wind thread forward half way up shank, wind floss half way up shank and tie off.

Tie in small pinch of squirrel tail, then one green pheasant feather over the squirrel.

Put single knot in uni-flexx to form leg, tie in one leg on each side of body with the knots in line with bend in hook.

Tie on deer hair and trim to form a ball shaped head, trim underside flat and cut underside rearward facing deer hair to uncover floss under belly.

Fish this fly the same was as has been described for the Miss Knobby X.
